Soccer Steps will provide an enjoyable and challenging camp for older players to develop their skills and understanding across a number of areas; * 1 v 1 - feints, turns, stops and starts moves *Passing and receiving skills *Crossing and finishing *Individual and small group defending *Heading-defensive and attacking play *Group play: putting it all together with combination play, small group defence and fast break attack. *Small Sided games -e.g. from 2v2 all the way through to 7v7. *There will also be a sport psychology workshop for players as part of the camp regarding player qualities and insights based on Jim Lowther's experiences as sport psychologist for Crystal Palace FC Academy youth team (over 3 seasons) The coaching staff have a wide variety of experiences from elite and grassroots football that will support your child's development as a person and player. All players will receive a Certificate of Attendance and an Uhlsport football.
